The Keel Line Continues. (2nd kit starting)

So after almost 3 years and 51 troops, I am happy to be starting my second kit, starting with my new Widowmaker helmet from Raestin Workshops.  I plan on using this kit for the Assassin brigade, therefore it will be muted colors with no added accessories on the outside of the helmet.  I will have a silver visor with color change LEDs to simulate multiple kinds of scanners and sensors (night vison, magnetic sensors, etc.).

Colors: Black and Oiled Bronze (possibly flat forest green)

Black, bronze and green would be a very nice combination. Even better if you can make the green look like a patina on the bronze.

Another small step last night, keyslots dremiled out, and got my epoxy and Chicago screws for the visor.  Now to get the silver film and welding visor.

A little forward motion, I got all my visor screws installed, and the visor is ordered along with the mesh for the keyslots.

The visor is completely cut out, and the silver coat is down.









And I test fit the visor to check for size.

And at long Last:  the paint is done!!  All that is left is the internal electronics, and padding, so without further to do......

And finally,  black wash and weathering.......

I will have one final post after we get the electronics done this weekend.  Keep an eye out for the new work in progress for the armor to go with my Widowmaker,  which is being geared toward the Assassin Brigades.

I'm a little slow on the visor install.  Are you drilling holes in the visor and putting the bolts through it? Can you post of the inside of the visor with it already installed?

So, small update, got some details painted on and installed the fan kit.  I say it's 99.5% done,  just have to get the mirrored visor and lighting installed.
