Hey guys, so I think this is the right place to post this, not positive but here goes lol.

I have just started work on my beskar and I love the crusader look, only thing is the chest piece is confusing me a bit I am not really sure how much different from the modern chest piece it is? Does it still have the little center diamond-like piece? and the separation down the middle? I looked at the reference pictures but I was kind of hoping to see what more people had done. I love the use of leather and kind of want to go for an medieval/scales kind of feel while still staying true to a mandalorian look.

Unfortunately I don't think you'll be able to use leather for actually making your plates and armor, though you can use it for your soft parts.
Which crusader type are you looking to do?

Oh i was actually hoping to do the armor itself out of metal i just love leather straps and accents. Um unfortunately I am still kind of new to the crusader look but most of the pics I like were late crusader I believe? Maybe some early? Leather is fine for Early Crusader, but I think for late crusader metal is better. So how much of what kind of depends on which of the Crusader eras you're doing.

So....I'm thinking of doing Crusader Beskar and looking over the CRL's I notice that it does not require knees. Is this accurate, or has there been some addition that I'm not finding?

For Late Crusaders, they are not required. For Early Crusaders, they are.

The majority of my Late Crusader plates are plastic but I'm having trouble getting my plastic bracers to attach. The CRLS say arm guards can be 'hard bracers' would heavy grade leather with metal studs be applicable? I know it works better for early, but can you get away for late? It DOES list leather as an acceptable material.

you can use hard leather if you go to my WIP thread you will see the bracers i use. just remember to make it so your straps dont flop around.

I should know this, and I've already asked one person in private:

CRL's state no light sabers except as obvious non-working trophies and I've seen several people with them.

The Pre Viszla Darksaber is a canon weapon for that character.

Can a non-Viszla character have a Darksaber as part of their kit? Even if it is just the hilt in a holster?

Question regarding the requirements for weapons to go with the neo crusader kit.  I've been looking for requirements and so far been unable to locate anything specific.  Anyone know what the weapon requirements are for a Neo kit?
