I'm back  :P

So, its getting colder, and I've decided I need a cape. What's the best material to use for a knee length cape?

Alright.
I'm back.
Again.
And this time I've have made a LOT of changes. I've repainted my armor, I have a jetpack now, and I have a much better belt. Anyway, here's some pictures:

I can't remember if I ever posted pictures of my guns on here, so here they are:

It's been a long 4 years, but here I am. I love this thing.

Su'cuy vode, I really like your new paint job!! Makes you look like your part of shadow collective. Very cool!!! :like: capes are awesome, I am making one as well. As for cape material, as long as you keep your jet pack and back armor or just back armor then you could do a thinner cape kind of like pre vizsla's cape. If you just want a cape with nothing under it then I believe you would want to use a thicker material, like your flak vest. You could also check out the requirements for some better advice.  ;D
I LOVE your blasters!!!

It has certainly been quite awhile lol

Welcome back!

Everything is look pretty great! If you are still looking to add a cape, I use double weave muslin for mine. It's light weight, drapes great, has good 'body' and flows well in the wind.

From the pictures it is hard to tell - have you weathered your black soft parts? It looks like there might be some weathering behind the knees?
Is your flak vest long and tucked into your waist items?

Outside of that, you may be ready to app in. Do you have a local Ruus you have been in contact with?

I've kind of given up on the cape. I don't really need it now, but it would be a cool addition. Thanks for the advice!

Yes, I have weathered my stuff to heck and back, but its hard to see in that light. My flak vest? It can barely tuck behind my ammo belt. I have a plan to replace it, but thats expensive, because I want to buy it from someone on here. It'll be awhile before I do that. It's also full of holes from when I tried to attach my chest plates with snaps. And it might be too small now, it was made for me 4 years ago.

Outside of that, you may be ready to app in. Do you have a local Ruus you have been in contact with?

Yeah, I sent a PM to my head honcho, but I have yet to hear from him.

Currently I don't see any of the holes on the vest in the photos - so they must all be behind your plates.

Your flak vest overall seems to fit your size well. For app photos if your vest doesn't stay tucked behind your waist items you can always hem it shorter to leave a gap there like Boba Fett has with his flak vest. How is your mobility in your vest?

Also - with how the waist items attach in the back you will want to make sure that is more evenly secured in the back when taking App style photos as one corner is current askew.

As much as possible, you will also want to have some better lit and larger file sized photos so that the App team can check all aspects of your kit easier.
