So, this will be my first time posting. I've been "recruited", for lack of a better word, by our local Mercs. I had to hold off a while before getting started on this due to other projects. But, now I have the time and resources to dive in!
Here is my concept art. It isn't a final by any means, but a direction I can try to stick to.
https://flic.kr/p/283zUTcI decided to start from the basics and move up, like in the way you would put the items on. I ordered a set of underarmor (will take care of any logo issues when they arrive) for my flight suit, so the items worn in the pictures with my flak are not the final.
As for my flak vest, I am busty and knew I was going to need those princess seams. I ended up making a duct tape pattern on myself and using that as my base, with some alterations. I used industrial velcro and made a center back opening. The sides are nylon webbing and d-rings. I quilted the neck seal and the shoulders.
Does it look okay? Any major issues?

I also found some boots that I think will work well too.
