Greetings! Salutations! So on and so forth

Last year I decided to make my mark by being a Neo-Crusader, but shortly after starting I came to a grinding halt because of work eating up all of my free time.

But now I'm back and I want to pick up where I left off! I have included everything I have done so far: https://imgur.com/a/DJ3pFVJ

I know it's not a lot, but it's better than nothing! It's my first real build after all.

I was going to go for the gold "Field Marshall" look, as shown in images at the end of this post.

I was thinking about going with the soft parts next, and I have some flight suits in mind to get. But aside from that, any advice, help, tips, tools, types of paint, anything that can help me get this going to the end would be greatly appreciated!

So sorry for the long delay! Life threw me a curve ball and I've been working on clearing that up.

As for the backpack (and the whole kit entirely), I actually purchased it from Kebii'tra Verda of the Mandalorian Arsenal. The reference image for it though, is as shown:
