This is top notch stuff. Really digging the reptile skin vest and the ribbed neck seal, anything that has texture is really awesome. Can’t wait to see the paint job you pick for the armor.

Do you just know a guy who has a vac forming machine or is it something you have experience and equipment for? Love how clean it makes the plates look.

Thank you! I'm in Bat Akaan's workshop. He has a vacuum form machine and pretty much everything we need.

Redraynos14, the shoulder bells will curve the fax leather to conform to the inside of the VF armor more that it is in the picture but there will be about 1" of material around the sides and end of the shoulder bell. We can trim this; however, I do not see anything in the CRLs that states that the flack vest shoulders must align with the outer edge shoulder bells? Since you are a Ruus'alor, your comments and suggestions have a bit more relevance than the average comment. Can you be more specific about this and do you feel this would affect approval?

Heading this all off with my word is not law:
I do not claim that this will or wont pass approval as is.

However,
In my opinion:  The proportions seem off and in comparison, the shoulder flaps seem really large to the rest of the body/vest.

I personally think larger shoulder plates that take up more surface area would benefit the overall look of the kit, however it is indeed not required by CRLs

Keep doing the awesome work! And keep posting your pictures, this is an interesting build to watch

Like Raynos said, there is not blatant CRL issue. You may just find you prefer the aesthetics of smaller flaps

Okay; between getting a tooth pulled and Fallout '76, we managed to get a little more accomplished.

Bat Akaan's epic Tailoring skills resized my flight suit.



I also picked up a Westar Carbine from a Naast Clan member


Got it put together

Filled in the gaps and sanded so I can paint it later on

Bat IS pretty badass

Made some headway tonight. Been busy plus had an old friend pass.

Put the Blurrg 1120, I got from Jinthal, together and started the holster as well


Holster got off to a good start



Can't wait to get started on the gauntlets



We put the armor on to see how it fit. Rather hard to see out of the helmet currently.
