Early, Early Crusader - Weapons
« on: Jan 18, 2019, 06:38 PM »
Hey all...   Working on an Early Crusader. I have strong Google-fu and reading skills but... leave it to me to want to do something that has few/little references.  LOL.
OK, specifically I'm looking for information regarding type/style of weapons (blasters or rifles) that may have been used during this period.  Yes - I'm aware of the heavy use of polearm/staves/axes during this period, but it seems evident that there was tech available even around the 4000 BBY +/- era. Per the CRL:
  • At least one weapon of Early/Sith Wars style.
Ancient melee weapons and ancient style blasters are preferred.
Modern era weapons are NOT acceptable.

And there is a great reference with Seutai's build :)   I can see references for the Early Sith Wars, but nothing of too much detail.
Does anyone have additional information that would... help?  Thanks!

You don't need to duplicate a weapon from the comics exactly, more emulate the style.  Bulky, clunky, large power packs, or even backpack power cells.   It might be helpful to work backward from some of the crusader references, imagine an earlier version of that blaster.

Thank you Sep!  That is what I've kind of figured.  I thought I'd inquire to see if there were any references that I may have missed.   I'll probably investigate that route then.  If anyone else has other suggestions - I'm all ears here and open to suggestions!
Again! Thank you!
