I also miss interpreted Slade's "The chicago screws need to match the armor" as, as long as they go with the color scheme they are good. So I need to repaint most of those. My main color is the cream color and I did all of the chicago screws in the maroon (my secondary).

Quoted for clarity since she hid it in the middle of a huge wall of text. Is my interpretation correct? Would she need to repaint the screw heads to match the plate they are on, or is it cool for then to be the secondary color instead?

Updates! I got everything on!

I noticed a few things, 1) I need to redo the velcro for the ab plate. It is crooked and not sitting flat. 2) The weathering was not captured well in the pics. If you see my earlier images you can see how much is actually on the vest, shirt and pants. 3) The gloves still need weathering. They are new and shiny. lol 4) My thigh placement was slightly off.

My actual shoulders are uneven so the plates on the left (my right) sit a little lower. That purple shoulder bell is attached higher.

Ok, same deal as slade -- Your kit looks AWESOME! You guys have done some really great work --

Most of your blak softgoods could use a bit of weathering, or the kit needs to be photographed in lighting that shows the weathering.
There is a different angle from the right side of your collar plate to your right chest plate, than from the left side of your collar plate to your left chest plate.
flightsuit sleeves may need a bit of tailoring, or tucking they're a hair baggy right now.

That's really all I'm seeing right now.  Good luck with the clan level pre-app!

Thanks Sep! I appreciate the nitpicking. I want to make sure this kit is 100% before I finally submit my app.

 Those are definitely things I will make adjustments too.  I have a new ring light apparatus that I want to try taking more pics with. Hopefully it will capture the soft parts weathering better. If not, I'll do some more finger painting. 

In addition to your list, I added more velcro to my boots to better hold those plates. They kept shifting around on me when I was taking the pictures.

My next update will likely be post Celebration. In crazy packing mode right now.

Miraculously, both of us were able to fit nearly our entire kits in the smaller luggage cases we had, the 'carry-on' size. She had to put her back plate in her full size luggage and I had to pack my belts and boots in mine. And of course we're carrying our helmets on. I'd carry the whole damn set of armor on if I didn't think TSA would have a conniption .

I'm sorry I'm just seeing this now... a little aesthetic thing for me is that the shape of chest pieces along the bottom don't fit the shape of the top of the ab plate, if you get my meaning. But that's just my preference, and it's your kit, so you gotta do you! It does look great though!! We are always excited for new sharks!!

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that posted. Got the results from my app today and I am approved!

I already have a list of  improvements I want to make 

-tailoring flight suit to be more form fitting, especially in the arms and around my knees.
-adjusting the layout of the holster straps. The snaps I set into the leather didn't hold up very well for walking around a lot. I need to move them up a little bit so when I extend my leg to step, it does not unsnap on me.
-more weathering on the blasters (a suggestion from the app team in my approval email)
-Better boots, current ones were darn uncomfortable at Celebration
-Possibly adding in a leather Kama. I have one made but it doesn't sit right with the holster set-up so I need to rework the design.
