Question - Fabric Patches on Hard Armour

I have a question about:

Hello,
As I'm reading more and more into background Mandalorian Lore, I'm wanting to evolve my armour as such.
I've recently learnt about the Cuy'val Dar, and I was wondering if I'd be able to put a patch I possess onto my armour.
It's the Republic's Bendu Wheel, in desert colours.

It would be much better to paint symbols like these onto your armor.  A friend with a vinyl cutter should be able to make you a stencil to make it easier to get crisp lines.
