Ok, here goes nothing.
A couple of rough pics of my constructs.

Firstly, the “Defensive” brace. Have started to “damage” it a little. Needs straps.

This is what I came up with for the “offensive” brace.
I’m going to have an LED somewhere, so I’ve made the box detachable to hold wiring and battery box.
I need some input on this brace, ‘cos I kinda made it up as I went along.

Some arm armour with simple trauma plates.

Simple beskad. This is actually really nice to wield. I’ve made it to 450mm blade length, and 60mm at the blades widest. The end of the grip will be exposed, and a wood effect applied to the pvc.

I think I’ll beef up the hilt a bit.

Got to the weathering stage.
How does it look? This is the first large scale item I have weathered, so I’m just learning.

I’m building my first kit, which is to be a Legacy Mando, so I thought the overlapping plate style would match in well.

It’s been awhile, but have actually done some armour work instead of weapons... :laugh:



Not the best pics, and the washes to the shoulder and knee caps don’t show too well, but you get the idea.

I decided on a one piece legacy chest plate with trauma plates. Only  the first coat of paint at present.

It's a pretty good ballance now, especially with all the layered plates, but be careful not to fall victim to polka dot weathering! Especially on large flat areas, like the backplate and helmet dome. Scratches and paint chips don't need to be an even coverage.
