Hey guys, I waited far too long and have far too many pictures. Here's the progress I've made over the last month and a half.
So not much has changed on the shoe front. I finished up weathering them and managed to break them in over the course of a week.
In late january I went to an armor party hosted by my Ruus'alor where they helped get my plates shaped properly
After the party I finally acquired some golf gloves that fit and began the process of removing the labels and adding conductive fabric to the fingertips so I can use touch screens while in kit.
Next I patterned up some hand plates and gave em some good ol fashioned weathering
My both beautiful and generous girlfriend got to work making my flak vest, patterning it off of a sleeveless t-shirt of mine.
The vest initially ended up being a little big, especially the front half.
So we made version 2.0! It still needs some darts in the back but overall a much better fit.
Afterwards, in her continued crafting radiance, my girlfriend began patterning and creating my shoulder bells
And because I am disgusting lucky to have her, she also made me some wookie braids from a cheap cosplay wig and inserted some pink extensions as a tribute to my aunt that I lost to breast cancer. It's important to me to have representations of their strength with me in kit. My girlfriend says it's a 4 strand circular braid so that it's symmetrical all the way around. I'll include a link to a short video she made showing the completed braid.

https://imgur.com/DVwXQ44Next up was patterning and making my shins and knees. I dont have a lot of pictures of the patterning process, but here the shin after I PVC welded the two pieces together and then once I had added some reinforcements with epoxy sculpt
Then came the knee. I ended up cutting my knee out of 6mm sintra, whereas everything else was 3mm as I wanted the knee to be super durable. I filled in the gaps with epoxy sculpt, and put a layer of craft foam along the back side as some padding for my knee when I kneel down. Some extra bits for flair, greeblies and sanding until death is all they needed.

Next is I made a set of thighs with hard case holsters attached. I ended up padding the insides with some thin craft foam to give my westars a snug fit.
After those were completed I started work on my gauntlets. Not many pictures but enjoy this gripping/climbing modification I borrowed from Jango
