What do you mean by graphite brush - as in your brushed in graphite or is there some super special handy dandy brush with that built in? lol

I literally took a tube of powdered graphite and a toothbrush and went nuts on it.

Hit a few spots with steel wool to give it some wear and marks for the graphite to settle into a bit more

Just remember, a little can go along way. I started by putting some on the weapon and brushing, but within a few minutes just put a bit on my work mat and rubbed the brush over it then the weapon then repeated that.

Also the graphite I used was one of the small tubes of powered graphite from Micheals/AC Moore/ Joannes were you find the pine wood derby kits. It's a like $2 tube meant for friction lube for those racers.    Made for a great test before buying a $20 bottle on amazon.   Also used on my bucket a little for some nice effects ;)

My rifle's about 90% complete now. Came up with a few nice greeblies, power cores, redid the scope, made a single point and added it, now I'm looking for the correct buttplate for the stock and sling mounts.   I practically regret not planning this for electronics from the start lol

Here she is:

Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions!

This looks great. The perfect sort of utilitarian grime without looking dirty. Love this!
