Guys I’m back and with a new project! This one is a special one tho. At the beginning of this year I lost my great uncle to a car crash, so I’ve decided to do this kit in honor of him. He loved planes and was a field engineer for the US Air Force. My Mando’s name Is Kazden Ambrose or Kaz for short. Ambrose was my uncles middle name and it fits so well!

I'm doing Galaxy plates too, just a bit modified in terms of the chest diamond. I personally would offset the chest box, it might be in the way if your plates need to shift as you move, but that's just my thinking

I’ve been wanting to do these plates for a long time!

As for the chest box, it’ll either have a harness system or will be attached the the Ab plate. I haven’t decided on how I want to do it yet.

You can never go wrong with galaxies. Unless they're too small, or too big, but otherwise it's an awesome plate setup you just dont see very often. I'm currently bum rushing my kit together for dragon con. Even if I have bare metal plates and no weathering, I WILL walk my mando, this i swear.

As for the chest box, a harness is definitely an option instead of hard mounting it. If i remember right most Vader outfits use velcro and a harness for the look, but I could easily be mistaken in that department.

Depends. Many Vaders will have leather straps so they'll have buckles instead of Velcro. If you're an Episode III Vader, then it's Velcro all the way as he doesn't have the harness in that one.

To the OP, great stuff so far! I'm also working on a pilot, inspired by First Order Tie pilots (3 smaller boxes instead of 1 chest box).

yup I saw your blaster it looks awesome

The helmet is going to look amazing with this kit once i flesh out all my ideas. I know I'm going to try and make the armor out of metal if possible. I will be using references from both the comics and SWTOR. I think my main color is still going to be matte black with gold accents (its a darker almost bronze  gold)
