Neck Seal
« on: Sep 28, 2019, 02:31 AM »
So I've just recently started to gather the soft goods to start  assembling  my kit but the neck seal has got me stumped. I've looked around but I haven't seen anything. If I missed it, could someone point me to a good pattern to use for it or where I could get one?

For mine, i found a tk neckseal tutorial on the 501st forums, the tutorial basically says to use some foam on the inside of the fabric shell, i still have to wear a balaclava under, but it adds some texture to the neck. either way, 501st is a good place to find help due to the amount of troopers and such within.

You can also modify a turtle neck for a neck seal.   Cut it low enough to make a hem and it slips right on.

Hi ,
This is how I sew my neck seal. It's integrated with my vest
 Hope this is helpful

This is another neck seal I've sewn ,
Non Intregrated neck seal

Stack the fabric so it stands upright

My apologies beroya13 for jumping in on your thread but I was wondering what material you were using Red Phoenix on the second example that you folded the material back on itself to stand up?  I really like the aesthetics of it.

Regards,
