Velleman MK171 Help
« on: Dec 29, 2019, 02:28 PM »
I recently put together a Velleman MK171 voice changer kit together and I am having problems with it and wondering if anyone had the same issues or could help me troubleshoot. So after I put the kit together, it turns on and the 2nd LED lights up when speaking into the microphone. However, no sound comes out of the speakers. I tried two different sets of small speakers and got no output at all. I went over my soldering points and replaced the R10 resistor with a wire to increase the gain. I used a multimeter and could see that the speakers would get increasing amounts of power when I spoke into the microphone although making no sound. I think maybe the speakers just aren't getting enough power? I'd appreciate any help, thanks.
