Ouuuch!!!!  Well i would start by putting an aggressive contact cement in the crack the kind used to glue p.v.c. pipe is good as it chemically melts the two surfaces together then reinforce the inside...... ideally with fiberglass resin and matting then fill any remaining visible crack on the outside with bondo sand and paint.

Jett

Thank you, I was hoping p.v.c glue was the recommended way to go. I did not think about using fiberglass/resin on the inside, thank you for the tips. Looks like I am off to the home improvement store for materials.

Ouch that’s a pretty good crack.
Definitely reinforce that like said.

Is this a polyurethane helmet? I've had poor luck with bonding urethane with PVC cements, but maybe one that's more aggressive might work.

I've repaired cracks before by ruffing up the crack surface with some light sanding, then superglueing it together with cyanoacrylate. Then I reinforce the glued seam with plastic bonding epoxy (also lightly sanding so as to improve adhesion). You can then further reinforce it on the interior however you want, more epoxy or even fiberglass as mentioned. I've never had a crack come apart again doing this, even with light flexing.

For fiberglass helmets, yeah just more fiberglass works well.

If worse comes to worse leave the "scar" from the repair and come up with a battle damage story... If Boba can have a blaster dent in his, you can have a lightsaber scorch across yours...

I used E6000. Holds well but can be removed without damaging the bucket if, like me, you realize you were clearly holding your head crooked on the range finder cap lol

Depends on the material of both, but 5 minute epoxy is usually a good bet for anything. But with pretty much anything though you want to ensure you have a lot of mechanical adhesion to give the glue stuff to hook onto, so scuff up both sides good with roughish sandpaper. Also just bolting it on is the ultimate mechanical adhesion.

This,
I’ve even epoxied bolts into the backsides of earcaps and bolted through the helmet so there was no chance my earcaps were falling off.

Thank you all for the advice. It helped out every bit of it. Also want it to be known that this was a "B" Pull from Lonewolf, I do not remember the number. But even still it was a great bucket.
