Being a conisouir of all types of tape of the duct variety I would be remiss if I didn't mention WalMart has a wide selection of different colors of duct tape so neat paterns and base colors for the suits could be done all in the lovely tough fiberous material.

Sadly I cannot partake of this smorgasbord of duct tap of which you speak as we don’t have Walmart where I live. :(

New Zealand has yet to be tainted by the Walton menace!

Wow. I am not used to people not haveing access to a WalMart. It's like finding that someone is still riding horses to get around.

Let me do some looking and find a brand name or two. I know they are not WalMart brands. You have hardware stores, right?

I knew a Kiwi and we talked about the uber leathal fauna of the neighboring Australia. He told me they were extremely careful at customs and inspections to insure none of that managed to cross over. Mind you an Ausie I know called the population of the neighboring islands a bunch of wimps who couldn't deal with what were perfectly resonable creatures. I take it there is a bit of a freindly rivalry between the two nations.

Having lived in both nations I can attest that it is more of a big brother younger brother

Interesting to know.  I have been under 28 inches of snow for a while, no chance to get to WalMart to get brands. I am going today so I will try and track the brand down so you don't have to try and get paint to look good on cardboard.

Aluminum tape is pretty easy to use, cheap, and gives a decent enough result from a distance if you're careful with it.

You can even paint it.

I saw Adam Savage use some on his youtube channel to make a wooden sword look "real".

https://www.duckbrand.com/products/duck-tape

The brand is Duck Tape. I am not making that up. It comes in a couple of dozen colors. I don't know how things get distributed down that way but their website can be read in English, French, German and a couple other languages. I didn't see an option to order direct but maybe having the name will help at the local hardware store.

No problem. Always glad to help. Especially when the happiness of children is involved.
