It was so much fun!

I've been working on a orbak costume to use with my mando and eventually (once it finished) I want to get a horse mannequin and use it as a part of a set at cons.  I also would like to use it for parades.  I do need to make different gauntlets I can ride in.  So, time to start planning some half bracers that still fit all my brigades requirements but are streamlined enough not to be a snagging hazard.

I was working on my Vod'ika's kit this afternoon but it was such a nice day that I just had to kit up and get a few more pictures.

I made a very small friend.  Honestly it was  a bit cold for them today so they were all trying to settle on flowers in the sun.

Yeah haven't been doing much cosplay stuff recently, this semester is super busy. Kind of want to get some troops under my belt too before I make/add anything else.

Holiday's have arrived, so I made a hat for my buy'ce and a candy can striped spear to go out to the parades with me!

   





Night time photo's are hard but that's my Twi'lek trooping buddy.  I was so glad she wrapped lights in her lekku as I pretty much just followed her down the road to avoid running anyone over in the dark.

And in case anyone was wondering, the fan film we shot way back at the beginning of the year had it's premier viewing.  I am officially on a movie poster!

Thanks!  We took third place in the judging for band/dance groups for the parade.  (I didn't even know there was a competition until they said we were in front of the judges.)  Not sure how we managed that since we weren't a band and most of us weren't dancing but hey!

Gonna try and take it from me?     Just remember, my secondary profession is assassin.  So I know how to fix'em and finish'em.  Never mess with the medic!

Yes!    They're talking about a sequel.  Fingers crossed.
That is actually what I was planning, a segmented half gauntlet.  Well it will be more like a 2/3rds gauntlet but yup that was part of my plan.  I already have the leather cuffs I plan to wear underneath that I used when I was on the horse.  (My actual gauntlets were to risky to ride in, at least for me.)

First troop of 2022!  I was invited to join the 501st for a night with the Symphony.  We weren't allowed to carry weapons, I fell so undressed.



Well they let the Jedi carry his but the rest of us had to leave them behind. 

It was great through!  So many people, very happy to see us out and about again.

Yes!  There were playing the Return of the Jedi music as the movie played.  Pretty cool overall experience.

I was fun but yeah bit weird without a weapons, guess that just means I need to make something a bit more exotic looking to carry for these kinds of things.

Troop today!  I had to do some touch-ups of the paint on my rifle and I noticed a few spots on my armor that need some love.  It was the first outing as an OM for my vod'ika.
