Jacq's MkII armour concept

Oya!

Greetings vode, I'm starting to think about building a new set of armour and I'd like your opinion on colour.

The aim (if its approved to begin with) is to go for the brigades as a sniper, so i've gone gfor a fairly dark, slightly "camo" style.
Originally I started with the design on the left but then I started playing and now I'n not so sure.
As you'll notice I'm using a Mynock's Den: Recon bucket (which arrived today and is amazing!)

The bird symbol is for my personal sigil and is based on Jamaica's national bird.

Hi, I'm just a rookie still trying to make my first armor, so take what I say with a pinch of salt.

Having said that, the helmet looks fun, and the pattern looks interesting, personally I like the contrast and the shapes the yellow scheme provides, (but then again, that's not a very snipery way of thinking) depends what kind of place your mando would do most of the sniping (urban, forest, desert...etc), or if you want to color him based on the simbology of colors, or even if you want to go for the heck of it.

I feel like most of the problems related to being too colorfull can be offset with proper distance, proper cover, or simply a good cloak. :)

PS: even if some parts are black, try coloring it a tiny bit brighter (like 5% brightness) because even black is not vanta black

I was thinking more urban but as you say, with proper distance and cover etc. colour shouldn't really be a problem... and I am drawn more to the brighter of the three.
I did also have a cloak idea in a previous concept that I might revive...


(It's also worth noting that I plan to break the armour plates up like the image below. Its not at all clear in my 'vanta black' version)

I had a look at your suggestion vod... it's not bad!
I'm still unsure but I think we're getting closer!


Maybe just change the bucket to this...

(Ignore the squares. I forgot to remove them. the colours have changed slightly since then...)
