I had my flack vest made. It Velcro’s on the sides. I think it looks pretty good but it might be a shad long.

It might be a bit long, but otherwise seems to fit just fine. Per the CRLs, you vest can't extend below your waist items, so as long as your girth belt/sash extends past the bottom of the vest you'd be good to go. If you keep it that way, I'd add velcro or snaps to the vest and girth belt to connect them, as your vest can't 'bunch' if it's tucked into your waist items.

Thanks so much! Could you clarify please about length. My waist according to the Mercs best template is my navel, and my vest should hit that. However there’s only about 2 inches to where my belt hits. And that’s where I’m going to have my girth belt and ammo belt. So is it ok for your belts to possibly cover your vest but not ok for your vest to cover your belts? Is that what you’re saying?

Correct, belts can cover vest (but not extend below them) but vest cannot cover belts.

Thanks, Slade. Could you clear something else up? Should the bottom of the vest be at the bottom of the belly plate or slightly longer?
