Hello Vode- here is my Boba helmet conversion. I'm going to post all the pics I've got (and remembered to take) so far. I filled and sanded a few times.





I primed it with a matte black primer (Rustoleum) and ended up having to sand, bond, and reprime due to a couple of pock marks in the dent filler




However, because I tried painting when it was 30 degrees (Chicago winters, bruh.) when I tried applying the Rustoleum aluminum silver, I got some blistering. And some more blistering in the right mandible


I ended up sanding it down completely again and reapplied the black primer. The blistering was pretty frustrating. Here's where we are now:
I'm going to sand it and prime it one more time before doing the metallic coat again this weekend.
