Rasec’s Early Crusader

Hi everyone I’ve been planning a Early Crusader kit for awhile and finally have time to work on it during the lockdown.
I’m basing it on examples from the old dark horse comics and examples of creatures from the old era specifically the Akk Dog and Fireworm scales for their high lightsaber resistance.

I’m going with a Reek type 3 horned creature for my helmet using the scratch built 5 gallon bucket method cause I have a pretty large noggin.

I’ll post my concept sketches and reference pictures in a moment.

My bucket so far, I used a 5 gallon bucket and a fiberglassed cardstock dome. I'll be fiberglassing the outside and inside for stability with a layer of bondo for filling and FreeForm-Air for sculpting and adding bone texture.
