So this finally came yesterday 



Took some pics and did some rough tracing last night and this morning to plan out my paint scheme... I'm super excited! (That ugly orange is a bronze/coppery color for real lol)







I'm probably going to use the normal rangefinder at first, though I do plan on designing my own at some point in the future. I also have a bronze mirrored visor that I'll be using. Oya!

Today was a good Mando Sunday!






Needs some final clean up and a good blackwash to take the shine off... Rangefinder and stalk are still under construction.

I really like the weathering. Did you use masking fluid? If so, what kind?

Im thinking about using simple toothpaste watered down for mine.

What about the inside of the helmet? Did you paint that as well?

I did not paint the inside of the helmet. I have a two piece liner that I'm going to use the top of and I'm prolly putting fans on the sides.

Got bored last night in between other projects...

I love the lighting. Is it LED? I was thinking about putting something similar into my Vizsla helmet. I have already ordered mini fans which will fit nicely into the inside of the ear caps too.

Yeah, it's a 12v LED strip for a car. I've got it wired to a 9v so it's not quite full brightness but full brightness might be a little too much anyway.
