does anyone use a voice amplifier that can also change your voice? or is there a way i could modify a voice amplifier to make my voice sound deeper? I'd prefer not to sound like a mouse droid while in costume

I use a velleman mk171 kit. Can make voice higher or deeper and gives that radio comm effect. Pretty cheap but requires little soldering skills.
