Ok so I am finally posting a WIP thread. I wanted to give you guys an idea of what I am going for and I hope to get your comments and suggestions to help me "finish" it. Since I live in Arizona, I am trying to go for a Desert Mando. My color scheme is tan, brown, olive drab, and some black & white. So right now there is still lots of work left, but I hope to be done soon. These pictures aren't the greatest. The armor is badly attached using scotch tape, and the cloth items are held in place by pins. Basically I have lots of sewing, painting, and attaching to do.

The chest armor needs to be shaped more. Pretty much all the armor kept popping off because the tape wasn't strong enough. I do plan on getting new knees. I know that one looks like it is about to fall off in the pic. I have white gloves because I will get a white sash to go under my belt. Eventually with my side holster on my right leg and the sash ends hanging down my left leg, I hope my leg/thigh area won't look bare. The sash should also cover the bottom of my vest and make it all come together more. I also have pouches for the belt, but I forgot to put them on. I will put gaunts over the arm wraps. I like the wrapped leg/boot/arm look because it reminds me of the sand people on Tatooine.

I will turn this military messenger bag into a backpack like Sinclair Reau did.
Here are my weapons. I still need to paint them all, add scopes to the guns, add cloth to the dagger and gun handles.

I hope they look similar to Solus Keer's Mavericks.

Oops I forgot to take out that big clip. That won't be there in the end. It will hopefully look similar to Hydra's rifle.

I will wrap the handles to coordinate with my wrapped arms/legs.
These are my thermal detonators. I will paint them and wear them on my belt.

These are my guants. I am using the shin guard method by Dar Kyram. Basically I will add plastic to enclose the gaunts and add the hooks to the side so it will look similar to Batman blades. Then I will add the calculator and light to the top.

My helmet is still to be determined, but these pics are to get an overall feel of what I am planning to do. Again please bare in mind I have lots of work left. When I am done it won't look just slapped together with tape and pins. For someone who is very new to this stuff and had zero experience, I am proud of what I have so far. I hope I am on the right path.
