Yep same here. I love meeting new Mandos especially female one. It is so cool to see everyone's unique armor. I can't wait to finish.

Ok guys I haven't worked on my kit much. I hate work. I wish I had like a full week off so I can just finish my Mando. Here is an update for you. I bought a Rubies 2 piece Jango and I still need to fix the seam, change the visor, sand/paint it, and add a flashlight to the side. I even found some tall boots that actually fit comfortably. I also need to epoxy my greebs to the gaunts, add some plastic to enclose it so it doesn't look like soccer gaurds, and then sand/paint those bad boys. I bought some metal armor because I was tired of breaking my plastic armor. I need to sand/paint that and then attach it to my vest. So it's doesn't seem that bad, but with my time constraints it might be awhile.

Oh I got to play around in Photoshop today so here is what I want to look like in the end.

I will put our AZ clan logo on my chest whenever we finalize the design.

So I spent all day working on my armor and sad to say I don't have anything to show.  I tried to complete my knees and guants. I finished my knees, but the paint starting lifting -I think that is what it is called. Basically certain parts of the paint have crazy crystalized looking lines. I might call it battle damage, but I don't like it. I might have to sand it all and start from scratch again. This is so frustrating.    Whenever I devote time to any  of my hard parts something happens and it goes to crap. I am close to finishing, but I keep messing up. I feel frustrated and sad and almost want to pay someone to finish my hard parts. I guess I will just wait for the next armor party to get some help from the experts. So heres hoping for a weekend armor party.

Mine did that as well, especially on the cheeks of my helmet.  I think it was due to the weather being really cold, so I just resanded and painted again, then took it in the house to let it dry.  BTW, trust me, I know how you feel.  If it wasn't one thing it was another.  Thomas and Allen will get you there.

Thanks peeps! Yeah I had to vent yesterday due to my frustration. I have read a ton of WIP threads so I thought I can finish on my own, but I guess I will need some personal one on one help from the experts.

Try and paint above 70, which for us isn't all that hard. If its lower then 70 I generally have these problems as well. Though looks good, I just still on my helm.

I was thinking it was due to the weather. Granted it is not cold, but the past couple of weeks we really haven't seen 70 degrees down here. So far it has been lots of clouds and rain. I prefer this weather since like 90% of the year it is bright and sunny and too hot. The weather is great to me, but it isn't the best time to spray paint.

Well last weekend's attempt at armor didn't go so well. I kinda have knees, but I think they turned out crappy. I need to repaint them. Hopefully this weekend I will try it again. So sorry no new pics. I will try to take some this weekend since all my soft good are done. All I have left is the hard armor parts. So close but yet so far
