I've started over on my kit due to. . . reasons, so I decided a new kit means a new weapon. With this kit, I'm going for a Heavy style, and a rotary blaster specifically.
I wanted one with a spinning barrel and found a good base in the form of a V-Twin (by Adventure Force).

Since the firing mechanism is mechanical, disabling it while leaving the functionality of the rotary barrels was as easy as removing a single gear.

Before removal, gear in white.

After removal.
Once disabled as a dart launcher, I began modifying it to change its appearance from its original form. I began by removing the belt feeder wheels. Next I added the hose from a kitchen sink sprayer and the wheel of an RC car. And finally I added one of the feeder wheels to the front of the gun, adding a more centralized barrel.

I plan to fill in and round out the belt feed at the very least, as well as filling in all the screw holes. I do need to figure out a way to cover the battery compartment without completely sealing it up. Also paint, of course.
