slowly getting a new kit together here's a progress picture on my new helmet since I decided to put my engraved one in semi retirement...

after fiberglassin but before bondo and primer

thanks.. last mass produced helmet i worked on was my jango 2pc 11 years ago.

put a bit more work into it today..

starting point for the day


Glazing spot putty applied



sanded with 180



sanded with 220



primed after sanding



Sprayed with Aluminum



after a misting of flat black and clear coat

put a bit more work into the helmet today.. started with prepping the visor





















with the visor prepped turned my attention to the ears



Decided to go with a communications Ear









Up next a little bit more work before priming the ears ..

Here is a tutorial on posting pictures for the forum.
It takes a couple more steps then just using Google Drive.  I'm no voice on determining if helmets are application ready, but it looks good to me  :like:
