Lighten the Color of Your Flightsuit Inquiry

Has any of you successfully lightened the color of your flightsuit? If so, what technique did you use so that the color was lightened evenly throughout the fabric?

My 2 piece "flightsuit" is  98% cotton blend. It's a blue-ish grey/ slate grey color that only needs to be a shade or two lighter. No huge color change. As always, I appreciate any info and advice you can share. Thanks!

I am not trying to get a uniform look, but just setting my scrubs out in the sun is helping fade them lighter. Mine are the same color as yours it sounds like. I also washed them 3x so far, and will keep doing that to increase the fade.

I believe Rit has a dye that works, but I've not tried that.
