I need some guidance with the chest armor.   The armor from Imperial Surplus is shaped better for Season 4-5 Bo Katan, so I'm trying to modify it.  It still needs some work, but before I move on, I was hoping for suggestions or feedback...

Initial result.  I tried to soften the crease across the front to create a flatter look.  I still need to open up the center piece more, and feel like I need to reshape the bottom of the neck piece and tops of the breast armor:

The collar looks too big and is the wrong shape - the center point shouldn’t come down that far. When that is fixed, the angle of the top of the chest plates should be adjust to match - the angle is too steep right now.

The crease should ideally be completely gone. You might have to do some major surgery to achieve that - cut at the sides, flatten out the crease and then fill in the resulting gaps with more ABS and bondo. Another option would be to build up on the top to cover the crease, but that might make them too heavy (depending on what material you use).

I am still working to refine the shapes of the chest armor, but diverted today to work on the shoes.  I may have overlooked something in my Imperial Surplus kit because I needed to make my own heel plates.  (Most likely, I trimmed away something I shouldn't have).   I cut out a piece of styrene and using the heat gun, molded it over a soup can to get the right shape for the heel.  I used the heat gun as well to contour the toe and spat pieces....

Round 2 on the chest armor.  I've trimmed the neck collar piece down and I am happy with the new reduced size and shape.  I am still working on the breast plates to improve the overall shape... and would certainly welcome some feedback.   I'm hoping to further minimize the crease across the front later.  These pieces are challenging me but I believe I am making progress.  Wondering too if there's a way to affix the breast plates to one another to control the midline spacing gap.

I think that’s definitely going in the right direction! If you can’t get the crease any smoother, I wonder if you could use a sculpting material on top to sort of round out that crease?

Trial #3... I'm not sure you all will be able to see the subtle changes I've made, but I believe I'm getting really, really close.  I've got the center line more evenly spaced out and the breast plates fit better on me.  I have a plan to reduce the appearance of the crease across the front, but am working now just to refine the overall outline.  The other issue that I hope I've improved is the general width of the plates.... out of the box, they can accommodate larger body frames, and I believe I've reduced mine to fit appropriately for me.

The only thing more exciting to share than a completed bucket is a completed JET PACK!!!   This was completed today and certainly motivates me to get the remainder of my armor trimmed and finished!

I am currently in the process of printing this file now (its a beast of a print job and I'm repressing the thought of all the sanding/priming/gluing/filling/bondo in my future). I'm hoping mine will look almost as amazing when finished! So, thanks for the reassurance and motivation boost! It looks so good!

Back to the grind... I've got the knee plates trimmed and assembled, and added the return edge back to my neck plate.
