Had time to try on most of the gear today.   I still have some tweaking to do... I need to add more Velcro to the thighs,  pad the ab piece, shorten the flak jacket, and I need to work the helmet padding a bit because there's no room for my nose!  It's hard to reproduce the animated body proportions, but I think we're getting close.  The breast plates look much better than they did when we got started.  Please feel free to give me some feedback!

One concern I have is the length of your cod pieces; it seems like they’re longer than your body - a slight trim to the top of them so they don’t hang off night do the trick!

I agree.  Thanks for the suggestion.   I wonder if I can solve this my pushing the cod pieces up higher so they tuck beneath the belt, or if I should trim them and alter their proportions...

I'm working now to make some changes.  First, I plan to add much more weathering to the armor to better match what is on screen.  I've also reshaped the abdomen piece to create sharper angles, and shortened the cod pieces a bit.

I finally had time to resume this build, and am very close to finishing up.... 

My latest alteration was to add snaps to connect the thigh armor pieces to the drop down leather straps.  Much more secure than velcro to keep the armor in place.

I received some valuable feedback from BHG regarding this build and they have made the following recommendations, which will keep me quite busy for a while....

Reduce size of cod piece even more than I already have
Trim back armor to allow back armor to sit closer to the neck armor at the shoulders
Reduce return edge of shoulder armor to 3mm or less
Relocate thigh straps up higher on the legs
Replace slides on thigh and shin armor with 3d elements
Reduce top of spats on boot armor
Remove hinge on back of gauntlets and replace with single line
Reduce girth belt from six to five sections
Shorten flak vest to end at bottom edge of ab armor

Stay tuned... I will be making progress on this!

Making progress with the modifications.... I've trimmed the girth belt, relocated the thigh straps, and reduced the height of the shoe spats. 

Here, I've created a craft foam template for the strap slides and will 3d print them if acceptable....

More photos...  working out the spacing between the leg pieces.  After trimming the girth belt and reducing the size of the cod pieces,  everything seems to fit better.  Now, I've got more room  beneath the cod armor, and the spacing between knees/shins and shins/boots looks better.  I still need to even out the thigh straps so they are even, but I have raised them since my last photos.

Wow this is amazing. I also love the fact you have a pair of Aprils gauntlets. Those are the best.
