I've filled in the hinge on one of the gauntlets with bondo and added the two grey buttons.   I will score the line and repaint once I finish adding electronics to the other gauntlet...

The gauntlets are finished!  I've added the blue LED lights and converted the hinges to a straight line as requested.  The gauntlets are now fixed closed and cannot open, so let's hope that my arms don't get bigger!

... and here's my latest with the soft parts.   I'm going with black material and realize that they may not be acceptable here on Mandalorian Mercs, but they are approvable on BHG... and personally, I like the way black looks.

For the top and flak vest, I am using an Underarmor like product.  I purchased 2 tops, and on one of them, I removed the sleeves, and shortened appropriately to terminate at the bottom of the Ab armor.  I used the extra material to make the 1" placket on the flight suit top, and the turtle neck.
