Got the liquid latex applied. It took around an hour of “fine” detail work. I did small smudges on the edges of the plates, thin line scratches, weird shapes like scrapes, and filled the dents. After that I paint said armor. The first coat showed some orange peel skin, but after a few more light coats, it smoothed out. It was weird, the coats of silver were perfect because I washed the plates in soap and water, but the silver paint job had small paint dust that rubbed on my fingers. I guess I should have cleaned the plates more before painting. But they turned out perfect (my standard of perfect for a spray rattle can). Tomorrow I will peel off the latex and assembled the armor. In your opinion, deep blue or sunflower yellow vinyl fabric for waist sash? And I will, if approvable want to wear a black adidas tracksuit as my flight suit. It has a stand up color to act as neck seal, more breathable than flight suit/coveralls, more comfortable, better range of motion, and I wear them casually a lot. I would cover the logos (the chest logo would be covered by vest and armor), sew pockets shut, and hide the zipper. The track suit has white stripes in the sides, but I don’t think that will matter because Pre Vizsla’s first appearance had blue stripes on his flight suit pant legs. Lmk your thoughts, comments, opinions, advice, and what color sash I should pick and the idea of a tracksuit.
And I’ll include a generic adidas tracksuit as an example.
