Make your own visor
« on: Sep 20, 2020, 01:00 AM »
Hey I'm curious if anyone has made their own colored visor? I tried Kalevalas visor but I unfortunately warped it and now I'd like to take a stab at it myself. I'm looking to make a yellow one. Anyone know where I could purchase a window film? I've had no luck on the internet.

I made mine my tinting a regular visor with black tint then adding a sheet of red acetate (Amazon) on top.  It's not reflective but is a nice red and still have complete visibility.

I took mirrored window tint and stuck it to a red photo cell.  Photogel  That was nice but not red enough  so I made a sandwhich   1 red photgel on top then the mirrored photo gel.

What adhesive did you use to adhere the top photogel to the visor?

None.  The visor is installed with Chicago screws so they are just on top of each other.
