Difference between Legacy and Modern Era armor
« on: Oct 06, 2020, 03:21 PM »
I've been looking through the forum trying to get ideas for my own kit and I'm really interested in the Modern and Legacy eras. However, I'm having a hard time understanding all the differences in the armor. I can tell that the chest plates are very different, with the Legacy armor being solid or overlapping and the Modern armor having spaces (about a thumb's width is what I think I read while looking at the CRLs), but I was looking through another thread and it mentioned that the Legacy era introduced new helmet designs. Could someone please help me understand what the differences are, or point me in the right direction for where I can get the understanding I need?

Thanks in advance.

Go look at Jadd Halls of Knowledge, there are helmet references and an entire Legagy section.

Legacy is part of Modern era armor.
The legacy armor is based off Hondo Karr from the legacy comics. The legacy helmet style is a wider more open visor style that has little to no cheek indentations but still has a visor trim outline of where the cheeks normally come down off the mandibles.
