Best Way to make a helmet
« on: Nov 25, 2020, 02:50 PM »
I am starting to build my first set of armor and i am completely confounded about how to make the helmet. i would prefer not to spend a ton of money buying a prefab, but since i have no clue what to do to make one, i might have to resort to that. Any help/tips that might set me straight would be appreciated!!

You're more than welcome to browse through the link in my signature to see how I did my first bucket.

If that looks like something you're up for, I'd be happy to help you out!

It may still be more than you are looking to spend for a first helmet, but I noticed that Stein Custom Designs (can be found on the list of vendors page) is running a holiday sale starting on 11/26 and running through 11/29.  If you are thinking of buying, this might be a good time to do so.  Could save 20 percent.  I personally just bought my first bucket, which I bought from them, and it is awesome.  I don't have much to compare it to, but I am exceptionally happy with what I got from them.   So much so, that I am buying a second one in a different style.

Maybe you could ask to a friend to 3D print one. Raw print is not expensive, but you must be ready to sand... :)

Hey there! I stumbled upon your post about your Mandalorian cosplay. As a fan of both Star Wars and cosplay, seeing posts like yours really inspires me to continue pursuing my own passion only in my of way. I like technology and I like the Mandalorian saga. A few days ago I came across one technology essay provided by a company where it explained how to make the process of 3d printing more efficient in the production of such costume details.
