Helmet time!
So i bought this a few years back on a whim, I know absolutely nothing about the origins of this bucket, tbh I don't even remember who I bought it from or when exactly.

What I do know is that it was previously a boba fett helmet (Dent still protrudes inside), It's primarily made of some form of fast cast with an internal fiberglass reinforcement.
It will need some slight modifications which are:
Remove Pinstripe and clean off residue- Sand down current paint finish and prep for repaint
- Mark out location for borden connector
- Drill out and mount borden
- Fill in turn signals slightly, making them smaller and further apart
realign RF Cover
So the reason I like this helmet is it already feels closer to the screen used helmet than your standard black series bucket which was my other option.
The RF cover is a little taller than average which is the case with the live action helmets, It has the little cheek indent on the left side of the helmet, and it should take very minimal modifications to make the turn signals more accurate, Speaking of which.
My plan for the turn signals.
So as we know the helmet used for the show was a casting of a sideshow boba bust that was... less than accurate to say the least. However this has provided a great and unique look to these specific helmets The main noticeable difference is the turn signals on the forehead, on boba they're fairly sizable, on the sideshow bust and deathwatch mandos they're very small and far apart.
Instead of completely filling the front and re-sculpting them with a dremel I'm hoping I can adjust the existing triangles to get the correct look.

The plan is to fill in to roughly the location of the red lines making them smaller and further apart and hopefully that achieves the desired look, It's possible that they'll still be too low but the only way to tell is to try it out and take it from there.
