Cardboard builds are super helpful! I’m working on a cardboard mock-up for my chest plate and have run into a lot of problems that I would have later on with the plastic. The cardboard also gives a really good idea of how all the pieces fit together!

You have right Starling.  :jango:  It is easy to shape and can be  easy to adjust if it needs and of course it is cheap :)
And like you said it gives a better idea of what your working on.

The cardboard mock-ups look good! I personally like the look of the second set of shoulder armor. And all of the cardboard pieces look like they fit you well too.

Thank you. My first ever prop was a stormtrooper helmet made it from cardboard and I have it in my workshop.
I look at that helmet and remember me my starting point in this cosplay adventure.

Hello friends, I  worked today on my shouders armor + legs armor.
Of course I still have a few things to finish and sanding but I'm totally satisfied with the result.

The shoulder bells turned out amazing!

The thigh plates look good as well. Speaking from experience, since I used the same style thigh plates, the top edge tends to float away from the body when you go to attach them. This is something to be aware of and there are a couple ways to handle it. First, you could hear the top edge and gently bend it toward your legs slightly. Second, you can add good attachment to the top edge. Or you can do both! I recently moved my thighs to a new flight suit and I ended up having to do both with the style pants I have now.

Your mock-ups are remarkable! The shin looks great!

Thank you a lot for your tips J'Khara Vontess.
And I fallow your advice and modify thigh today and of course you have right. The top part tend to float.
I bend it a little and it was good and fit better than before.

Thank you so much for your help.  :like:

I think I don't load this topic very much with images and steps I follow.
I'm a beginner and of course I go with small steps and I think that maybe someday
someone will use my images build posted as a beginner as I am.

Respect
