Starting my first kit, going for post imperial, below are the concept images and the starting work and some progress on my bucket.
Lots of Print Lines!

After many attempts and many failures I finally have a base coat I am happy with.  I attempted to use gloss black and a graphite rub, but If I waited for the proper cure time the paint would not take the graphite and if I attempted to apply before cure time was over I got finger prints everywhere.  Ended up going with Dupli-color wheel coating in graphite with the wheel coating gloss over it.

Looks great, can't wait to see more! I was a little worried about paint being applied too thickly in your base coats, but it all worked out in weathering and looks amazing. Love your color scheme.

added kill stripes to the back and a flashing led  and antenna to the earpieces.

slow but steady almost have all my armor printed, its too cold to paint so I decided to start work on my soft goods and got the flak done.

Well its been a while, been working on some soft goods and a bunch of other projects, but here is a little update to the kit.  I got the base metallic grey down and then a coat of chrome

Silver looks really good! Just watch out for those print lines in the iron heart, very important to make the plate look smooth.

100%, should have stated that the iron heart is a separate insert and the area shown will be covered by it.  I have been very meticulous about print lines.  Thanks for the encouraging words!

I thought I had seen the (very rad)bucket somewhere before when I commented on your pics on another platform, but couldn't place it. My previous note holds true, that overlaid paint job tells a story.  Strong work!

Alright got some washes on the shoulders and chest, gauntlets are done, and I made some half chaps.
