Gauntlet questions

What would be standard issue for gauntlets. Trying to get my ideas out but just wasn't sure on what would be good to have. Im doing a desert bounty hunter ideas. The only ideas I have is possibly some sort of blades mounted on the gauntlets for close combat reasons if I'm in a fight

Blades are a great choice! Keeps a low profile, too.

Blades, flamethrowers, dart launchers, grapple launcher, communicator, scanner, shield generator, whistling birds, holdout blaster, computer interface, slicing spike...
