Hey! I'm really new here and I'm super excited to get started. I'm not going to be able to build this for some time, but the design im going with is as the image attached describes (albeit in a limited sense). A dark pink color scheme with yellow/orange accents, Jaig eyes, and moderate wear on all parts. I'm planning on using the Mynoks Den "Grunt" helmet for its modular helmet attachments, Heavy infantry style knee armor, boba fett/modern mando style belt and pouches, Bo Katans shoulders from The Mandalorian (i used the classic option in mandomaker), and then Axe Wove's gauntlets. Im using some replica Soviet tactical gloves, and a custom made jump suit. Overall, I think this design works well, but I find it odd that the Mercs require 4 peices of leg armor, despite the fact that a large portion of mandos in the background of season 1 (see the art book) do not have this allotment of parts, not to mention some missing shoulders or gauntlets.
either way, I look forward to comments and suggestions.

Hello there! Welcome to the forums FishTail.
Your concept is looking good - with your decision to do minimal weathering to your kit will work well with the decision to have a black flight suit, as black soft parts are very difficult to weather correctly when matching significantly weathered plates.
With the post imperial style - you are correct. You do need a total of 4 lower body plates as pretty much all onscreen Mandos have a combination of hip plates, thigh plates, knees, and shin armor but it can be a combination per the CRLs
"No less than 4 pieces of lower body armor to include: tasset plates (single plate or a set), thigh plates (single plate or a set), knee plates (single plate or a set), shin plates (single plate or a set), and or kidney plate."
I would suggest that with the design you currently have, simply adding the tasset plates (or side hip plates) do your design to meet the CRL requirements. These will meet the total number of required lower body armor pieces while also allowing you to use the thigh pouches.
