3D print - no centre support
« on: Mar 10, 2021, 07:17 AM »
Has anyone managed to print their bucket successfully without a centre support column?
Any advice before I commit?
Thanks in advance.

yes it is possible and cuts down on the printing time exponentially.

Yes, block out the supports in the dome, but be sure to keep the supports on the T Visor and keyslots

PLA prints better overhangs than PETG and ABS. I print with PETG and set my support overhang to 74 degrees and about 10% density, with a support interface.

hey i'd like some info on the print if you dont mind, like how many grams it used, and how long it took. And how did you print without the center supports?
