There are many Velleman products, please provide more info.
Which product was it?
How did you destroy them?
What speaker are you using, and what power source?

https://www.amazon.com/Velleman-MK136-Super-Stereo-Ear/dp/B004NVVTU2/ref=sr_1_2?crid=MMZN8M53NVLC&dchild=1&keywords=velleman+mk136&qid=1616075313&sprefix=velleman%2Caps%2C230&sr=8-2

the 1st one the copper contact for one of the mics burnt off. just fell  right off the board.

the 2nd i onlyget "sound" out of the left ear but all it is is static.

the 3 is working but super quiet.  currently useing the  3 AA pack it comes with and head phones.

I know the head phones work. I use them daily at work.

Were them a DIY kit that you soldered? Because that issue with the 1st one sounds like applying too much heat while soldering. Did you use paste/flux?

Yeah, it's kinda difficult to troubleshoot.
One option is the good ol' switcheroo: replace elements and check if it still doesn't work. Not many options without an oscilloscope.
You can also use a multimeter to check components or copper vias.

On the second, is it static, or a buzz in the 50 Hz range? If it’s buzzing, then the microphone probably isn’t grounded properly. I had to put on quite a bit of solder to bridge the contact to the ground prong.

To mitigate the buzz/static, I bridged the terminals of both mics with a small 1uF ceramic capacitor (says 105 on the side.) It worked for me, will not guarantee it will work for you.

No. I sold that helmet off last year. It's simple though, on the terminals that come out the back of the mic, solder the cap across the leads.
