You'll have to open your images in a new tab, so that they end with .jpeg and then place in your post.

Fun looking kit.  There are some earthy aspects that will need to be addressed before official membership in a few years.  I'd suggest applying for Verd'ika Corps for Mandos under 18 years old.

Your jacket isn't going to fly, just so you know.

Cool, ya the requirement for Verd'ika membership is essentially a helmet to cover your face as you are still a minor.

Is there anything after that I should do? And thank you for the help. I truly appreciate it.

Lots, but first what is your intention in a mandalorian kit?  Are you going towards official membership when you turn 18 or are you doing this just for a fun kit?

For official membership you will need several adjustments, additional plates, plate fitment, soft parts, waist items, weathering to match you helmet both with plates & soft parts, removal of the "earthy" jacket (not seen in canon on any mandalorian or in star wars), and paint.

You are off to a great start on your first kit and have lots of room for improvement and upgrades.  We all started at a similar point.  I'd recommend you first start with a WIP (work in progress) in the Armor Construction section of these forums.  There you can get suggestions from others and create your custom mandalorian.  There is a great tool you can use for concepts with colors and era called Mando Maker. You have about 3 more years to become official when you turn 18 and plenty of time to work on your kit.

Being from Ohio you are in the Rancor Clan, you can communicate with a local command staff for tips on where to find material and such.  Unfortunately, there are some restrictions to being under 18 and you may need your parent(s)/guardian with you for events/armor parties, but work with the command staff in your area.

Then whatever I didn't cover can be found below from Desago:

Welcome to the Mercs.

The best advice I can give you is: research, research, research.  The more reading and research and planning you do, the easier your build will be.

A really good place to start is this thread.  It has a lot of great information.  Also, the Royal War College of Mandalore has a lot of great tutorials, guides, and visual references, so make sure you explore all it has to offer.

Also, you should post an introduction in your Clan's message board so you can meet some local Mercs.  Please follow the link Matchstick1021 provided.

You'll also want to take a bit of time to read the Comprehensive Forum Guide. It's a long read, but incredibly worthwhile.

Plus, if you're not familiar with all the ins and outs of posting on message boards, and want a quick tutorial on how to insert hyperlinks in a post, rather than a long, boring url, check out this very helpful post.

And finally, while devouring the information available on this forum, if you've got a question, don't be shy about asking it.  The folks here are absolutely amazing.  Knowledgeable, welcoming, friendly, and pretty much always willing to lend a hand.

Actually...

His jacket is seen in Star Wars, in a sleeveless form. The Mod gang member, Drash (played by Sophi Thatcher) wears a motorcycle cycle vest with the same cut as his jacket in The Book of Boba Fett.

As such, I could see this used as his flack vest in the future.

thank you for the backup Tramp Graphics :<3: Oh and also, Karl Dha'Werda, I looked into the armor rules and came up with some new armor. No jacket or anything underneath it yet because i'm missing the velcro, but does this design seem better and more usable?

No problem. Just remember, while vests can have sleeves with Modern armor, any such sleeve must end above mid bicep according to CRL. So, if you want to use this type of vest design, I suggest buying a new motorcycle vest of that cut. Otherwise, you’ll need to cut the sleeves off that nice jacket. I would also check with your Ruus’alor, or the app team. They’ll be able to give you better advice and answers. Aside from the long sleeves, the only real issue I see with using that jacket as your flack vest in the future is the color of its zipper. According to the CRLs, any zipper must be color matched to the vest. In your case, this means that the zipper must be black, not silver. I use a motorcycle vest for my flack vest, although a very different cut and material. Mine’s an “armored” motorcycle vest.

Use this link to find templates for your armor.
Echoing what Tramp said you can use old motorcycle jackets from the thrift store $1-15 USD.  Turn them backwards with the zipper in the back and cut off the sleeves.  If you leave a little bit of the sleeve you can attach your shoulder bells to it.

Or wear them the way they’re designed to—with the zipper in front. You don’t need to have the closure in back. As long as the zipper is the same color as your vest, and the pull tab is covered by your armor, or a cover flap, you’re good. I like having a front closure for ease of dressing.
