What do we think of Space combat knives with spiky bits..?

I made these for me and my sons, and was curious if it'd be in any way a problem to incorporate them into our Mando kits...

They're 1/4" HDPE blades/guards (all one piece) with HDPE grip slabs (and/or grip tape to match armor colors) and nylon pins (& superglue) holding them together.  I'm hoping these will be con/event/parade-safe, but if not, please advise what I could use as a substitute.

It would be best if you rounded off the spiky bits just a little to make sure they can't accidentally cause scratches.  Other than that, you've got some decent combat/utility blades there. :)

My oldest has decided he wants his kit to have a Pirate-style flair to it, so I made got him a flintlock-looking blaster from the new trilogy and made him a vibroblade cutlass...
