My entire paint job is done with acrylics, no enamels. I used a combination of Mission Masters and Tamyia Color Acrylic model paints with an airbrush. No spray paint was used.

It may be possible to paint the gloves, especially since the airbrushing would allow for a much thinner, flexible layer, having painted a few rubber glove panels and boots, rubber will actually hold acrylics pretty well, even without any clear coat. But again, it's your kit, so if you like your gloves the way they are, that's up to you.

I refuse to use enamels on plastic. One of the things I was taught in a Movie Miniature Modeling class I took in college (as an elective, I was a cartooning major), was that enamels eat styrene based plastics, such as polystyrene and ABS. The solvents in enamels melt the surface of the plastic in order to bond with it. These will over time break down the plastic. Thus, I was taught to always use acrylics on plastic. There's a reason why Transformers toys use acrylic paints for their paint jobs and tampographed details, not enamels. Enamels also won't cure on several other types of plastics, such as polyurethane or vinyl.  I can use acrylic model paints on any type of plastic.

Did you mean to reply to the comment above mine to Odran Krayt?  I am impressed that you did your whole armor in acrylics and not spray paint.  Super cool.

Your kit is fine as is, the personal opinion from Odran Krayt is just that, just a personal opinion.
