This thing really came to life with the weathering. That's one gunked up, industrial looking Mando! I love it.

Under different lighting that better represents the "bone" color I was trying to achieve

Dang pesky lighting

I am obsessed with the exposed wiring. What a cool detail!!

The visor's color looks like it fits well with all kinds of lighting, which is always good! It's neat how it reflects the greeblies, almost makes it seem 3D, like it's inside your helmet as well.

May I ask which fan you're using? It looks like it's powered with a phone power bank?

I like how even the inside padding / design looks like it fits right in to Star Wars! Wait, is that mando'a script too?

So, the fan in the back is not powered, i just put that there for the aesthetic, but the helmet does have two very small fans which blow the air through channels on either side of the visor. The base helmet was made by April Storms Props on Etsy, by the way.

The power bank I put in there seems to work very well, though it took me a while to figure out how to make it secure and integrate it without it being in the way. Yes, just a standard phone power bank I got on Amazon.
The EVA foam lining also took a while to figure out but I’m happy with how it turned out, and it made mounting things on the inside much easier.

The exposed wiring was super fun to do! I love damaged stuff like that.
The visor I got from Kalevala Visors.  I wasn't prepared for how awesome the mirrored effect would be. I think it looks so cool!

It’s really amazing the sorts of things you can come up with legos (not to mention, it’s fun!)

Ikr!  I think I'll make some things and use  velcro to attach to the helmet.  Would you say that would work out good in your opinion?

I epoxied the stew out of all those greeblies on my helmet for fear of them getting knocked off (which will probably still happen )
I would be afraid the Velcro would be too visible and/or not stable enough.

This is super cool!
I really like the aesthetic of the inside, it looks like it'd be very comfy  :P Was the bottom lip of the helmet that thick when you got it, or did you pad it out with the EVA foam?

I padded the bottom lip with the EVA, yes. I spent sort of a ridiculous amount of time trying to get the inside looking and feeling nice. It's still pretty rough up close, but overall I am very happy with how it turned out. Comfy, indeed!

Mmm mmm mmm, this looks amazing, Kainrath!  :P
mmmmmm, delicious  Thanks so much!

Wow! That weathering is amazing! How did you do that?! What did you use for the brown paint?
