Hello Vodes.
I am from Reunion Island, a French island located in the Indian Ocean just next to Mauritius and south-east of Madagascar.
I have already made several mandalorian costumes including that of Bo-Katan for my wife (I will soon do a special post on it).
My new goal is to level up and make a post-imperial mandalorian costume that could be approved by this group.
I went on the shoulders and the Foreman helmet from Alter Ego Armory, because I really like his designs. The files are also very easy to print.
The chest armor is a classic Gunslinger.
Initially I wanted to go on a blue / gray / white colors scheme then when testing Montana's "Pegasus blue" color, I decided to change and go with this color combined with an orange-yellow and white patterns. Here an idea of the concept on Mando Creator (not exactly the same helmet from AEA) :
So, I wondered what creature could be associated with these colors and I thought the Acklay (a big praying mantis which is a bit in these shades of colors) could match.
I added the letters "AK" for Acklay Killer on the chest and put an Acklay sigil on the right shoulder.
The next step will be the helmet which is being printed.
