I think it looks good, vod! Are you planning on weathering it?  ;D

Not really. I'd like to be one of those who takes care of their things. Nothing against those who do like to weather their armor, but I like the clean-cut approach in this case. Whatever weathering i do get on it I'd like to earn.

I love how you brought your drawn profile pic to life, and I gotta say the gold and white combo on your helmets lower is really growing on me!

What did you use as the base?

Amen.

As a US Army veteran, when I was in the Army, we had to keep our gear clean and serviceable, no tears, no paint chips, nothing. If we got a tear in our BDUs, they needed to be fixed our replaced. If they wore out, replace them. If our weapon got dirty, we had to clean it. If the paint on our vehicle or equipment  got chipped, we had to paint over any exposed metal. That’s the philosophy I’m going with my kit too. Any damage my kit gets will be from natural wear, and will be fixed or replaced as needed to keep it “ serviceable”.  If there are any small dings in my helmet or armor ( my helmet has a couple of small ones from my dremmel by accident) they will still be painted to match the rest of the helmet, just as we would have to back in the Army.

For the basis, I took a lot of inspiration from nature. One of my most frequented haunts is the Chateau la Roche in Loveland, Ohio, a sort of medieval nature preserve.

For my character's background and personality, I modeled it after Link from Breath of the Wild, which is currently my favorite installation of the Zelda franchise.
