[Second Son]

edit- I didn't screw up making image links so here's some stuff leading up to the story as it is now:
Armor concept

Seeing if this works out - posting the current state of my gauntlets (I dove right in) and if this works out I'll post build pics.
First time posting images so here goes nothing.





Step 1 (no photos) re-work templates in AutoCAD and hire out a laser cutting service cause I got no time for cutting metal by hand.
Step 2 Bend that metal


Top boxes have tabs and main platform has slots so I could switch them around until I liked which ones were where

Step 3: Added a vent panel because yes

3A: doodle with some Zappers (they change a few times before finalizing)

3B HINGES


Step...4? get nuts and paint the first top box cause I needed to change gears





- DANGER STRIPES -

4-ish mount the vent (painted black!) and final pew pew configuration and test fit again



5.0 make and paint some hand plates with the extra bits I cut off my shin plates.

Step 6:  remembered these things come in pairs so made the other one too, I guess.




Buttons



Step 7 do the paint, made sure to include more DANGER STRIPES



Painted some buttons and riveted the plate on


Step 8*  Straps






Step 9: permanently mounted the top boxes and decided I should start a WIP thread after the fact....
